Have a big table and nothing built to match its scale? Here's the format: an 80 by 80 cm square, fabric stretched over a steel frame, hung from four slim cables. Seen from below, it reads as a glowing ceiling panel rather than a light fixture.
At 12 kg, it's not a light object: that's the price of this size. Which table would you put it over?
Eight sockets, light with no harsh shadow
What if a big table could be lit with no shadowy patch? The eight sockets are spread out behind the diffuser, which removes the single hot spot you get with a classic pendant light. The light falls wide and even, so no one is left poorly lit.
Each E27 socket takes up to 15 W in LED, a comfortable output. The bulbs are not included, so you can set the colour temperature yourself.
Stretched fabric and steel, made in Poland
The frame is steel, the shade is genuine fabric stretched by hand, the diffuser is opal PVC. It's this build that gives the whole piece its 12.05 kg: check that your ceiling can take the weight and plan a suitable fixing.
