A steel loop and a cage
Fancy a wall light that stands out even switched off? A round 8 cm back plate carries a black steel rod that curls into a loop before dropping down to a faceted cage measuring 10 x 15 cm. The whole thing measures 30 cm high and projects 28 cm from the wall.
It sits above an armchair, beside a headboard or in a hallway. Its black tone and wire-frame design suit industrial interiors, and bring character to a more understated decor.
A light that draws shadows
The bulb stays visible inside the cage. The light spreads in every direction and the steel wires cast geometric shadows on the wall. It's ambient lighting, which pairs well with a ceiling light.
It takes an E14 bulb, not included: an LED of up to 12 W maximum, or 40 W in a traditional bulb. A decorative filament bulb, in a warm tone, highlights the cage and strengthens the loft feel. Avoid tones that are too cool, which harden the shadows.
Black steel, made in Poland
The wall light is made of black painted steel. Light at 0.335 kg, it is made in Poland and comes with a 5-year warranty. The wire steel cage dusts off with a simple brush.
