Looking for a wall light to soften a too-bare wall? This half-moon in white ceramic measures 34 cm wide, 8 cm high and projects 16 cm from the wall. Its bowl shape, gently domed at the front, stays simple and free of ornament.
It sits above a console table, on either side of a bed, or repeated along a hallway. Its plain white suits a modern, minimalist or Scandinavian interior, and pairs just as well with light wood as with black metal.
Light that rises upwards
The bulb stays hidden in the hollow of the bowl. The light rises and fans out across the wall, giving indirect light that's comfortable for the evening. The ceiling picks up a soft glow that visually enlarges the room.
The wall light takes an E27 bulb, not included: up to 15 W in LED, or 60 W in a traditional bulb. A warm tone suits a bedroom or living room, a neutral tone suits an entrance hall or hallway.
Fired ceramic and glass
The bowl is made from fired ceramic, paired with glass. Ceramic is a hard material that keeps its shape and colour over time. The wall light is made in Poland, weighs 1.35 kg and comes with a 5-year warranty.
It fixes to the wall and connects to 230 V with an earth connection (class I). Its IP20 rating means it is suited to dry rooms in the home. It is shipped from our warehouse in Poland, and tracked delivery is free from £65.
