Most of our catalogue is stored in our warehouses in Spain and Poland, ready to ship. Every model is selected and tested before it goes on sale. The lights shipped from our warehouses in Spain and Poland carry the CE marking and comply with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU, and every light shipped from Spain comes with installation instructions. Lighting Concept has three warehouses: one in Spain, one in Poland and a third in China. Most of the products sold on lightingconcept.co.uk are physically stored there, ready to ship as soon as you place your order.

- Your parcel ships from Europe for 80% of our sales. Orders shipped from Spain are dispatched within 24 hours on working days, and delivery times are shown on each product page.
- Items shipped from China take longer to arrive, but these are only our slowest-selling references. You can check where an item ships from on the banner just below the buy button.

- We can send you a spare part. Glass shade, lamp holder, cable or screws: if something arrives broken, we ship the part from our stock rather than leaving you with a refund and no solution.

A curated selection in stock, not an automated catalogue
Lighting Concept lists more than 1,000 models. That number is deliberately limited. A site that automatically imports a supplier feed can display thousands of references without ever having seen a single one. Our catalogue is narrower because every model has been handled before going online.

- 2. We assemble it and switch it on: quality of the lamp holder, strength of the soldering, how the light really looks once in place.
- 3. We check the manufacturer’s compliance documentation, CE marking and RoHS.
- 4. We reject any model whose build quality, electrical compliance or finish does not hold up.
Electrical compliance: CE marking and the RoHS Directive
All the lights sold by Lighting Concept from our warehouses in Spain and Poland carry the CE marking and comply with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU.
The CE marking
It confirms that the product complies with the European directives that apply to lighting, in particular the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, which governs electrical safety, and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU.
The RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU
It restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical equipment: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE. A RoHS-compliant light can be fitted in a child’s bedroom with no risk linked to these substances.

Installation instructions in every parcel
Every light shipped by Lighting Concept from our Spanish warehouse comes with installation instructions in the box. If they are missing or illegible, we replace them.
- The wiring diagram: live, neutral and earth.
- The bulb fitting: E27, E14, GU10, G9 or integrated LED.
- The maximum wattage for each light point.
- The IP rating, for models designed for bathrooms or outdoor use.
- The fixings supplied and the recommended type of mounting surface.
Connecting a light to the mains must comply with BS 7671, the IET Wiring Regulations. If in doubt, use a qualified electrician.

Prices are shown excluding VAT in your account. Your tier discount applies from your very first order, on all eligible products. Volume discounts are then added automatically as the quantity increases, with nothing for you to do. Beyond the top tier, we prepare a bespoke quote.

Your account gives access to references reserved for professionals, including those withdrawn from the public catalogue. You receive stock alerts first and can reserve batches.
Delivery planned around your projects
Professional orders are prepared first and leave the warehouse ahead of the general queue. For a project, your account manager agrees a delivery slot with you in advance, so that everything arrives together on the day that suits you, rather than in a series of partial shipments.

From one of our two European warehouses, in Spain or Poland depending on the item ordered, when the product page shows fast shipping. Other items ship from our warehouse in China.
How long does delivery to the UK take?

Are your lights suitable for UK electrical installations?
Yes, for the lights shipped from our warehouses in Spain and Poland: they carry the CE marking, which confirms their compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU, and they comply with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU.
