Our selection has more than 60 pendant light shades. A little over half have a metal frame or shade, almost a quarter a fabric shade, and the rest use PVC, glass, wood, paper or natural fibre. White and black lead the colours, followed by beige and grey. Round shapes such as drums and rings are the most common, alongside conical, square and origami-style shades, in modern, minimalist, industrial, Japandi and Scandinavian styles.

More than two thirds take a standard E27 bulb, so you can choose the brightness and colour of light. About a third of the models ship from our warehouse in Poland, a few from our warehouse in Spain and the rest from China: count about 4 working days from Spain and about 8 on average from the other warehouses. Examples include the 45 cm drum pendant in white or black, the black fabric ring pendant in 50, 70 or 90 cm and the Japandi pendant with three asymmetric paper shades.

No, not all shades are suitable for all bulb types. Always check the manufacturer’s recommendations regarding the type and maximum wattage of the bulb to be used. Most of our pendant light shades take a standard E27 bulb, and a few have integrated LEDs.

Do black pendant light shades suit a kitchen?

Yes: a black pendant shade in fabric or metal draws a clean, graphic line above a kitchen island or table, especially against light cabinets. Hang it around 75 to 85 cm above the worktop so the light falls where you prepare food without dazzling you.
