Our recommendations
A true basket weave
This bamboo pendant light is hand-woven from wide strips of natural bamboo that cross diagonally, over and under, just like a traditional basket. The result is a sturdy, rounded shade with a strong texture, where every strip keeps the natural tones of the bamboo. Two light wooden rings finish the top and bottom and underline its rounded shape.
Soft light, filtered by the weave
Inside this bamboo light, a white fabric shade surrounds the bulb. It softens the light, which then passes through the gaps in the weave to create a warm glow around the sides. Underneath, an openwork bamboo rosette woven in a spiral lets the light fall onto the table. The open top also sends a little light up to the ceiling.
The measurements to know
This bamboo ceiling light measures 40 cm in diameter: a good size above a table for two to four people, in a hallway or in a bedroom. It hangs from a single black cable and fixes to the ceiling with a round black ceiling rose. It takes a bulb with an E27 fitting.
